National Apprenticeship Week 2023

National Apprenticeship Week (NAW) is an annual event that celebrates the achievements of apprentices around the country, and the positive impact they make on communities, businesses, and the wider economy.

Now in its 16th year, NAW 2023 is themed around Skills For Life; reflecting on how apprenticeships help individuals develop the skills and knowledge required for a rewarding career, and businesses develop a talented workforce that's equipped with future-ready skills.

Celebrating Top Tech Talent

With an increasing number of jobs becoming available in tech, digital and data, apprenticeships in these sectors are particularly in the spotlight this year. It’s why we’re commemorating National Apprenticeship Week by celebrating five of our apprentices who have demonstrated to be true Top Tech Talent in their chosen field.

Our Top Tech Talent celebration was organised to showcase the successes and achievements of our hardworking apprentices. We received inspiring nominations for apprentices across digital marketing, data analytics, ICT, network engineering and technical sales.

All our apprentices are rising stars in tech and our Top Tech Talent champions are no exception. The winners have demonstrated how they’re learning new skills and knowledge for a rewarding career while bringing innovative ideas and solutions to the companies they work for.

Let’s meet this year’s Top Tech Talent!

Hear from tech employers

Apprenticeships continue to help employers attract new talent, upskill and retain their people and develop a workforce with future-ready skills. They’re also critically important for job creation and economic growth, especially in the booming tech, digital and data industries.

We reached out to our nominated apprentices’ employers to find out how apprenticeships are benefitting their companies. Follow the link below to read their responses.
