Technical Sales apprenticeship

Companies are continuing to use new technologies to carry out their everyday business. They engage with tech specialists to buy, build, provide or maintain their technologies. As the tech industry grows to accommodate this demand, so does the need for knowledgeable technical salespeople.

Technical sales is a unique role in the tech industry. It combines effective communication skills with expert technical knowledge. Tech sales reps must have a thorough understanding of the technologies that they’re selling, ranging from software solutions to hardware products and IT services.

The Level 3 IT Technical Salesperson apprenticeship provides people with the sales training to win new business, maintain relationships with customers and gain repeat business. Importantly, it builds excellent knowledge on the technical products and services that the salesperson's employer is delivering.
